How can you tell a life transition is on the way?

I have an important QUESTION for you:

Have you ever gone through any of these transitions?

  • Empty nest

  • Diagnosis of a serious health issue

  • Death of a loved one

  • Getting fired

  • Changing careers

  • Becoming a caretaker for someone

  • Recovering from surgery

  • Getting divorced

  • Getting married

  • Moving to a new location

The truth is, women our age seem to be going through transitions constantly. Transitions, whether you are looking forward to them or not, create stress.

One thing you can do to make it less stressful is to be AWARE when there is a transition on the horizon. There are tell tale SIGNS to watch out for, such as:

  • A persistent feeling of discontentment or dissatisfaction

  • A sense that something is missing

  • A feeling of being stuck in a routine that no longer excites or challenges you

  • A nagging sense that there is something else you are meant to be doing

  • Changes in your external environment, such as a job loss, a significant life event, or a shift in personal relationship

Being aware of what’s happening is a major part of reducing stress.
